Van Der Zwaag German Shepherds raise red and black shepherds. Though it is fun to see the markings and colors on puppies, it is important to remember that they can change as they grow.

Size

The small puppy you bring home will eventually grow into a loyal and large dog. Our females typically range from 60-80 pounds while our males range from 70-100 pounds. This is an average, not a guarantee of how big your shepherd will be.

Coat

The fur of our puppies is typically a short hair or stock coat.

Personality

With the appropriate attention and socialization, our puppies are very loyal, social, and family-oriented. German Shepherds are easy to train. We like to call them gentle giants!
